Find the newest clubs and casinos on the strip. These are the places to see and be seen and you can bet the A-list celebrities will be partying at these places. One problem with Vegas is that new clubs are constantly opening while others are closing, so you must keep your finger on the pulse of the town to find out what's hot.

Talk to the concierge at your hotel and your taxi driver to get the latest gossip on what is going on along the strip that night. These are the people who are always privy to the good gossip and usually know who's in town and where they are partying.

Be wary of clubs passing out free passes to enter later that night. While they are legit, chances are you won't see any celebrities inside since the club is sending people out on the street to recruit club-goers. Celebrities are inclined to go to places that are "hot," and any place that doesn't have a packed house on its own has certainly cooled off.

Dress to impress. You will not get into any upscale club in Las Vegas in tennis shoes and jeans. How you look can be a deciding factor as to whether you can get into a club in Las Vegas. Look for celebrities in the front row of many new shows in town. Shows love to publicize that a star came to see their performance, so they will usually get them in the front row where they can see and be seen. You have a much higher chance of seeing a celebrity at a show on an opening night than later in the run of the show.

Befriend your taxi driver and ask him where the good parties are the night you are in town. Taxi drivers are always privy to insider information and usually know where any celebrities are hanging out.
Research online before heading out. Some club websites will publish any big upcoming events. Such events include CD release parties or celebrity birthday parties. Not all are open to the public, so it is best to find out before showing up at the door.
Be prepared to get turned away at the door of many Las Vegas clubs if you are not wearing some fine clothes and shoes. Also be prepared for some very high cover charges, especially if you are not a local and if a big event is going on.
Like in Hollywood, don't be fooled by people trying to make a quick buck by selling maps to the stars homes in the Las Vegas area. Some are not correct, and others are so highly guarded you won't see the celebrity or his home anyway.
