How to Make Knuckles Stronger

Strengthening your knuckles can have many positive effects. Having stronger knuckles will aid you if you are taking martial arts, boxing, kickboxing, or any kind of physical activity that requires hand strength. There are a few things that you can do to strengthen your knuckles.

      Do knuckle pushups. Doing pushups with your fists closed and your knuckles on the floor will help strengthen the muscles and tendons in your hands. If you do this on a rough surface, you will develop thick calluses. These will make the skin on your knuckles harder and thicker.

      Train with hard surfaces. Repeatedly punching a rough surface can also help increase the strength of your knuckles. Start with something that isn’t quite as tough. If you wrap a burlap sack around a punching bag, this will create a rough surface for you to train with. As your knuckles get stronger, you will need to increase the roughness of the object that you are training with.

      Create a routine. Toughening up your knuckles doesn’t take much time every day. More than time, repetition is the important thing. If you dedicate just a few minutes a day to these activities, your knuckles will grow stronger in no time at all.
