How to Win Auctions at the Auction House In Rappelz
One of the best newly added options to the game Rappelz is the auction house. The Rappelz Auction House features items that players register for bid, much like on eBay. You can get rare items that would ordinarily take you days to win in battle, or you can get commonplace items for less than market value. Either way, the Auction House can be helpful for players who are hard up for cash or need better items. This article will show you how to win auctions at the auction house.

1
Go to the correct Auction House to keep tabs on any bids you place. Horizen and Rondo have some pretty easily acceptable auction houses that aren't too far from where your return scroll will take you. The one in Katan can be a slight pain to reach, and the auction house in Lasky will require you to use another teleporter, as the auction house is in Lasky Field. If you intend to do battle while the auction is going on, pick Horizen or Rondo. No matter where you place your bid, the auction items and bids remain the same at each location.

2
Place your bid on the desired item. Go at least 25,000 over the initial bid if it is a rare item, but stay close on the more common items. If possible, pick the short-term items to increase your odds of winning. Short-term items are on sale for a maximum of 6 hours in the Rappelz auction house, so you may be ahead of the crowd just coming into the bid.

Raid your warehouse for spare items you don't need. Unequip any items you don't mind parting with. While you're waiting to see the next bid, sell your spare items to any merchant for quick cash. That way, you can have extra money on hand in case someone is trying to snipe your bid. A yellow message will pop up on your screen saying "Someone placed a higher bid." If you bid in the Rappelz auction house and still get sniped, sell those unequipped items and bid again.

Stay in the Rappelz auction house if someone places a higher bid than you. If not, rent a mount and kill mobs (preferably pet mobs) at the lowest level you possibly can for drops. Pet mobs give decent money on drops, but people who "farm" pet mobs often leave even more money behind. All this money is basically "free" Rappelz bid money if someone still tries to outbid you. Keep those return scrolls handy!

Tips & Warnings
Watch the high bid and compare it to what you could get for the item if you sold it to a merchant. If the winning bid is more than the merchant price, it isn't worth winning!
Remove stones from any unequipped item before selling it. You can use those stones in your replacement item.
