Step 1
Call (414) 321-2100 or consult your local newspapers starting in late August for Craft Fair USA shows, dates, times and other details. There are usually some ads put out well in advance, especially in the rummage or craft sale section.
-
Step 2
Craft Fair USA also goes by other names, depending upon which holiday it is; for example, around Christmas, it is the "Holiday Craft and Gift Show."
-
Step 3
Rock to the music with top local acts such as "Michael Drake and the No Tan Lines Band." The band performs about four times daily during the weekend of Craft Fair USA and at least twice on Friday. There are other local bands and entertainment that will be announced as the fair gets closer.
-
Step 4
Sit down and eat at one of the food venues located within the exposition center at the craft fair. There are a many different kinds of food and beverages available for purchase. Enjoy a Milwaukee Fish Fry on Friday night, complete with potato pancakes, french fries and tartar sauce. Pizza, sandwiches and popcorn are available all the days of the fair.
-
Step 5
Enjoy the local feel of the fair, including items baked from local bakeries and paintings, photography, crafts and unique creations from local talent. There is a great emphasis on the local sports teams such as the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. You are bound to see items crafted with those teams in mind. These items include dolls, tablecloths, hats, pictures and clothing.
-
Step 6
Many of your favorite in-home party hosts for candles, food and jewelry will be vendors at Craft Fair USA. There are also several "as seen on TV" vendors showcasing the latest products. Many local talented artists are displaying their work. There are a variety of vendors and the lineup is a surprise until you arrive. You can often purchase products at a bit of a discount here.
