Use a brush or comb to brush your hair back from your forehead. Gather hair loosely at the base of your neck, holding hair about three inches from ends. Try a glossing wax to control stray hairs and give your hair a healthy, shiny look.

Lift your hair so that the ends up pointing up. Twist your hair to the right to create a twist or roll effect at the back of the neck.

Hold the ends with your left hand and twist the hair tighter until it feels secure.

Use your right hand to fold the ends of your hair over, down toward the base of your neck, and under the twist.

Pin hair in place. Use bobby pins to secure the twist in place. Use as many bobby pins as is necessary to give the twist a nice, secure and tight feel.

Spray hair with hairspray. Use a maximum hold hairspray to ensure that your French Twist stay just where you want it!
