For a wider variety, choose from blueberries, plums, blackberries and strawberries. Add these as snacks in between meals, or as part of your meal added in various dishes. The healthiest way to benefit from the vitamins and nutrients berries have to offer is by eating them raw, rather than losing them in the cooking process.

Boost your vitamin and mineral intake by eating a wide variety of vegetables and fruits, particularly dark green and orange vegetables. Opt for fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible for the highest amount of natural vitamins, antioxidants, and nutrients. Also eat three or more ounces of whole grain cereals, breads, rice and pasta. Take multivitamin supplements if needed.
