1
Write your boyfriend or girlfriend a love letter or simple poem. These can be stuck inside lockers, book bags, delivered by a mutual friend or even passed to each other in the school hallways. Let that person know that you are thinking about them, or tell her how special they are to you and how much you love spending time with them. This will not only put a smile on your date's face, but in her heart, as well.

2
Surprise your mate with small gifts, flowers or e-cards. Tape a single rose to the locker, go for dinner and a movie and have a small gift wrapped and waiting in the car seat. Send an e-card, and have it scheduled to be delivered first thing in the morning or late at night to surprise her before going to bed. These types of gifts show your mate that they are definitely on your mind.

Be spontaneous. Pick him or her up for a surprise picnic in a park or by a lake. Pretend to kidnap them using a blindfold, and go for a long drive ending at a drive-in movie or outdoor concert. Put on the car radio, and dance in a parking lot. Surprises are romantic and show your mate your adventurous side.

Find something neither of you have ever done before, and do it. It has to be something that interests you both. Go wall climbing, bungee jumping, cave hiking or even playing a new sport. Alone or with a group, this type of activity can be very romantic.

Use any and every reason to send a card, whether it’s Flag Day, Grandparent's Day or Sweetest Day. It just doesn’t matter. Find a card, or even better, you can create your own. There are blank cards you can purchase and card kits you can use to create these great cards from scratch. Again, you’re showing your favorite person that you’re always thinking of them.
