How to Get a Guy to Like You in the 7th Grade

In 7th grade, it can be hard to figure guys out. They mature a little slower than girls of the same age and can sometimes be hard to talk to. Anyone who likes a 7th grade guy and wants him to like her should take the time to understand the guy to find out what he's looking for.

Instructions

1. Laugh at his jokes. Guys in 7th grade are all about their own jokes. If they see that you find them funny they will be more inclined to talk to you, to make you laugh some more and then to spend more time with you.

2. Find out what he's interested in. There may be a lot of interests that the two of you share. It might be music, movies, books, games or anything else that you can get him to talk about. The more you talk to him and find out about his interests, the higher the chances are that you will find common ground.

3. Be yourself and let him find out for himself all of your good points. Putting on a fake personality or pretending that you have interests that you really don't have will be obvious to most guys. And if they aren't right away, there will be problems down the road. But by being yourself, you can find out if the two of you are really compatible or not. You may discover that you aren't as made for each other as you thought.

4. Act like a friend first. If you want him to be a boyfriend, it is more likely to happen if you know him as a friend first. This will also make you less nervous as you try to get him as a friend instead of a boyfriend. If the two of you get along well as friends, there's a better chance that he will eventually become your boyfriend.

• Don't let a guy boss you around or take advantage of you just because you like him. If he doesn't turn out to be such a nice guy, it's perfectly all right to stop liking him and to tell him so.
