How to Bleach Eyebrows
Coloring your eyebrows is a delicate process. The skin on your face is sensitive to chemicals. Working with eyebrows is very close to your eyes. It's easy to drip dye or bleach and do serious damage to your eyes and vision. Bleaching eyebrows can be done safely, but you must take some precautions and do it the right way. Slapping some hair bleach on your face and leaving it there will likely produce some results you did not want. If you have never colored your brows before, you should discuss it with a cosmetologist. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Check your brows to make sure you haven't scratched them, recently plucked, or have any open injury to the skin. If there is even a tiny scratch, applying bleach will burn terribly and may further damage your skin.
-
2
Wash and dry your face.
-
-
3
Use the mascara wand to comb your eyebrows so the hairs are as straight and spread out as possible.
-
4
Dip the mascara wand in the facial hair bleaching cream.
-
5
Dab off any excess cream onto a paper towel. You want to be able to comb it through your eyebrows without any of the bleach dripping off.
-
6
Starting at the center of your brow, comb the bleach through. Work outward and be cautious not to drip any bleach. If any gets on your skin or starts to drip, wipe it off your skin immediately.
-
7
Watch the color of your brows. Some bleach will only take one minute to achieve desired lightness, while others may take up to ten minutes. Never leave it on longer than the package recommends. Bleach can cause chemical burn, blisters, skin lightening, and other ill effects if left on the skin too long.
-
8
Once desired lightness has been achieved, use a damp washcloth to remove the bleaching cream. Once all remnants of the cream have been removed, then wash your brows with soap and water. Using the washcloth will limit any of the cream running down your face or into your eyes.
