1
Make a list of all the things you love about your significant other. Think about what first attracted you to him or her. Then think about what attracts you to them the most nowadays. Are there any special moments that you wish to share with everyone at the ceremony? What she or he said during the proposal? How you felt during the proposal?

2
Begin just jotting down your initial thoughts of what you would like to say to your soon-to-be spouse while standing before all your witnesses. Make sure you don't mention anything that would be overly embarrassing to your lover. Read over what you've jotted down so far. Continue to add to it whether it makes sense or not. Once you've run out of thoughts about what to say take a break and set this writing aside.

Read over what you read in your stream of thought process. Get out one of your favorite photos of your future spouse. Turn on the tape recorder. Look at the photo and speak to it. Reiterate what you've read but without reading, just remembering and speaking from the heart. Listen back to what you just recorded. This is your most honest self while still being somewhat put together and rehearsed.

4
Replay the recorded vows and then write them down. Have a close friend who knows your future spouse read the vows. Practice saying them to that person. Take their criticism and advice and let it sink in. Go back to the vows a day later and see if you still feel the same about them. Do they express your love and desire to be with this person forever? Do you make any declarations of eternal lives together? Make sure you actually acknowledge that you love this person and want to be together forever.

5
Relax. Continue to practice a time or two each day until the ceremony. It would be best if you knew the vows basically by heart but not so well that it comes across as a political speech or message of propoganda. Remember, it still needs to come from the heart. Your future spouse needs to feel your love. Just breathe and things will be perfect. Be confident and enjoy yourself and your vows are sure to be amazing.
