Things You'll Need:
- Foam meat tray
- Pencil
- Craft knife or scissors
-
Step 1
Start washing and saving your foam meat trays so that you will have them on hand at all times. Be sure that your foam trays have been dried thoroughly before storing or they may mold.
-
Step 2
Cut the sides off of the foam trays so that all but the flat bottom remain. Cut your tray down to an inch larger than the size you want your stamp foam stamp to be when finished.
-
Step 3
Decide whether you want to use the patterned side of the tray or the flat side. On the opposite side of the foam tray, use a pencil to trace or draw your design onto the foam. You will need to press hard enough so that the lines are noticeable in the foam when the paper is moved.
-
Step 4
Using your craft knife or scissors, carefully cut the image from the foam.
-
Step 5
Use your stamp on paper, walls, material or whatever you want! Simply dip your foam into your choice of paint or ink pads and gently press onto any hard surface. Gently lift the stamp from the surface being careful to lift straight out so that you do not smear the paint or ink.
