Cheese is an excellent source of protein and calcium, and besides that it tastes good! If your dog is a cheese lover, than make these cookies and make your pooch's day.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 cup romano cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Teaspoon
  • Cookie sheet
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray and set aside.

  2. Step 2

    Measure flour into large mixing bowl. Add cheeses and stir well until ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  3. Step 3

    Break egg into small mixing bowl and beat well. Pour in milk and stir. Add the egg and milk mixture to the flour and cheese in the large bowl and mix all ingredients until you have a soft dough.

  4. Step 4

    Scoop out a heaping teaspoon of dough and roll into a ball. Place on greased cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining dough, setting balls about an inch apart.

  5. Step 5

    Bake for ten minutes and allow to cool. Store in an airtight container.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add a teaspoon of garlic for an added treat your dog will love.
  • Don't feed your dog too many cheese snacks, as too much cheese can cause constipation. Stick with one or two each day.
