Tips & Warnings
Use the toothpicks to hang on to the balls while you apply the spray paint.
The longer you make the skewers the larger and wider the centerpiece will be.
For a splash of color in a small space, make the centerpiece smaller by using shorter skewer sticks.
If you want to add more color to the centerpiece, you can also paint the skewers.
Paint each ball a different color or choose three main colors to create a color scheme. Silver and metallics offset darker colors and make a great contrast for the centerpiece.
Do not discard, as these items can be easily repainted to create a new look for another occasion.
Paint this project outdoors in a cool dry area.
If painting indoors, allow for proper ventilation or use a dust mask.
Avoid accidentally spray painting any surrounding areas when painting the balls or base.
Do not inhale paint fumes.
