1. Open your Neopets account, if you don't already have one (see Resources). Before making the big bucks, you'll need some revenue to invest. Play games to start getting some funds. Determine which you can make the most points playing, and play them the maximum amount every day.

2. Get your daily freebies. There are a number of locations throughout Neopia that offer daily freebies. Make sure to collect these whenever possible. Sometimes you'll get something that can be sold for a good profit.

3. Your Neopets do not need food. If you don't feed them for a while, it will say they are "dying," but they never do. Also, if you do choose to feed them, note that what you feed them doesn't really matter. They're just as happy eating cheap food as the pricey stuff.

4. Once you have some money, invest in the stock market. Buy the maximum number of stocks you can each day. Buy the cheapest stocks possible. Wait until the price goes up. This can take days, weeks or even months, but they will eventually go up. While it requires some waiting, this is probably the easiest way to become a millionaire. A stock you purchase for 15 NP can easily triple in price over the course of a few months.

5. Another way you can make good money is through your shop. The shops in Neopia Central and Neopia Plaza sell out quickly and many Neopians are not willing to wait around to try to buy something. If you buy things here, you can often sell them for more in your shop. Books in particular are hot sellers.

6. Shopping using the Shop Wizard and reselling in your shop can also prove fruitful. Search for popular items (codestones, doubloons, fairies) and buy the cheapest ones available. Many people either do not look into what things are selling for or simply want to get rid of inventory quickly. Price the items you got deals on at the going rate, and you will make some good money.

7. Periodically, pets will come down with diseases. When this happens, it is an epidemic, and many pets will have the same disease. During these epidemics, medicine to treat the disease becomes very expensive. Buy it from the pharmacy and resell it in your store for an excellent profit. Similarly, players will often be on "quests" that require they find certain items. This greatly increases the price of the item, making it a good short-term investment.

Tips & Warnings

• Don't give your password to anyone, even if they claim they can make you money with it. Instead, they will steal your money and all your possessions.

• Don't get worried when your stocks go down in price. Just hold on to them until they go back up.

• Don't waste time and money on quests. They are seldom profitable.
