How to Insert Word Art into a Microsoft Word Document

Word Art is a good nice way to change headline fonts and really make them standout. Here is how you add word art to your document.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open Word

  2. Step 2
    Check Toolbar
     
    Check Toolbar

    Make sure the drawing toolbar is displayed. You can do this by clicking, "view" on the main menu at the top, then click "Toolbars". If there is a checkmark next to the menu item labeled, "Drawing", then you already have it displayed. If there is no checkmark, then click the menu item "Drawing".

    Click the Wod Art button on the drawing toolbar. It is circled in red on the image.

  4. Step 4
    Word Art Gallery
     
    Word Art Gallery

    This brings up your Word Art gallery. Choose any one of the styles and then click the "Ok" button.

  5. Step 5
    Edit WordArt Text Window
     
    Edit WordArt Text Window

    The "Edit Word Art Text" window should appear. Type in whatever text you want as your Word Art then click the "Ok" button.

  6. Step 6

    Word Art

    You should now see the text you entered in the Word Art style that you chose.
