How to Apply Mod Eye Makeup

Mod eye makeup refers to the makeup of the swinging 60s. The look was popularized by American fashion icon Edie Sedgwick and the British supermodel Twiggy. Mod eye makeup is a classic retro style that can translate well into a fun, sexy, and theatrical contemporary look. Like the smoky eye look, the Mod eye should be the focal point of your makeup.       Start with a clean face. Apply foundation if you have any blemishes or unevenness in skin tone.

      Apply black mascara to your upper and lower lashes.

      Line your upper eye lid above the lash line and your upper eyelid crease with black liquid liner.

      Join the two lines together.

      Apply a coat of white eye shadow on the eyelid. Contrast with grey eye shadow on the lower lid.
