How to Ask a Guy Friend to Prom

Having trouble finding a perfect date to prom? Why not share that special night with someone you know you'll have a great time with, someone who will make the night a night to remember? You can! Just ask your guy friend to prom.

Instructions

1. Act fast. Nab him as your date before someone else does.

2. Think about how he would like to be asked. Is he a funny guy? Would he liked to be asked on a whoopee cushion? Or is he of the sentimental, old-fashioned variety that would prefer flowers and a sweet note? Decide what type of guy he is and what type of approach you should take.

3. Be creative. Since he is your friend, make it personal and special. Try to think of something he would really like.

4. Keep it casual and low-key so it doesn’t come off as too date-y. Let him know that you are asking as his friend.

5. Tell him that as his friend, you know he would make a great date, and that you two would have loads of fun.
