Think porcelain, chinaware, bone china or ceramics for this anniversary.
Step2
Consider your spouse. Would they like delicate china teacups, or a modern cool cobalt bowl?
Step3
Shop around and think creatively. Use the Internet, catalogs or specialty shops in your neighborhood for something unique, or go to department stores for something a little more traditional.
Step4
Enclose a personal gift card.
Step5
Wrap the gift, and if possible, deliver it in person.
Tips & Warnings
Porcelain is not everyone's cup of tea, but maybe a Chinese tea set would please somebody. How about a vase, lamps, candlesticks or a fruit bowl? Or consider fountains, a statuette from the last century, antique beer steins, or matching his-and-hers sink bowls for a bathroom redo.
If your partner is just not the porcelain type and you still want to give from the list, you could purchase tickets to a museum showing porcelain. A gift certificate for ceramic lessons at a nearby school or shop could also do the trick.
If you're stuck, you can commission something from a potter, but make certain you allow enough time.
