How to Make Honey Nut Butter

Try this delicious honey nut butter on corn muffins, biscuits, waffles or pancakes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Unsalted Butter
  • Toasted Nuts
  • Honey
  1. Step 1

    Toast 1/2 cup of pecans, walnuts or hazelnuts in a small saute pan over low heat until aromatic and lightly browned. If using hazelnuts you'll need to remove the skin with a dry towel. Let nuts cool.

  2. Step 2

    Cut 1 stick of cold unsalted butter into 8 pieces.

  3. Step 3

    Blend butter, cooled nuts and 1/4 cup local honey in food processor until smooth. Serve at room temperature.

on 12/6/2008 I used to make something like this when I lived in the mountains in Italy and they had no maple syrup. Your recipe sounds better, though!
