How to sell football cards

Have some football cards lying around that you'd like to sell? Learn how to find out ways to sell these cards.

Instructions

1. Only attempt to sell your football cards that are still in good condition. Attempting to sell those that are bent up badly is generally considered dishonest and you likely wouldn't make anything out of them.

2. Buy a Beckett Football Price Guide at a store nearby. A price guide will allow you to know which of your cards are worth more. The cards that are worth a larger amount would be better off sold individually.

3. 

   For rookie cards and special insert cards that have high dollar values consider talking to a sports card shop owner and see if they would be interested in purchasing them. If they aren't, or the offer is far below the Beckett price guide value for the card, don't sell it.

4. If the higher dollar cards aren't sold at the card shop, list them on eBay. It has proven to be a pretty good place to sell football cards in the last few years, especially those high dollar inserts.

5. What about all those lower dollar regular cards that you don't want anymore? I suggest breaking them up into lots and selling them on eBay. Break up the cards by team and you may well find some people really looking to buy some regular cards of their favorite team.
