How to Draw Link from Zelda
Drawing Link from Zelda is a little challenging. However, you can study how the clothes look in order to draw them realistically. Link's sword and shield should be drawn separately. However, when you are ready, draw both onto the character. The most defining features you will need to draw are the hat and hair, both are very exaggerated and triangular.
Instructions

-
1
Sketch the arms, legs and head.
-
2
Detail the head and draw in the eyes. Draw the chin with the point. The ears should be large and pointy. Next, sketch the hair. To do this, draw a large, fang-like shape that comes down across the front of the face.
-
-
3
Sketch the hat. To make the brim, draw a small arc across the top of the bangs and shade underneath. Follow the curve of the brim. Draw the triangular hat with one fast stroke and pay attention to form. Adjust the line accordingly.
-
4
Refine the features of the face. Draw in the pupils and darken the eye brows. The nose can be drawn with just a simple hook or "c" shape. To draw the mouth, create a small arced line. Darken in a small triangular shape underneath the line to "open" the mouth.
-
5
Simplify the clothes. Draw a horizontal line at the mid point of the thighs and then make a small triangle underneath the throat. Sketch Link's sleeves with simple lines. Finish with gloves and boots.
-
6
Draw a belt that goes across link's waist. Make sure the shirt flows a little over the edges. Sketch in the belt that goes across Link's chest. Use a diagonal line and curve it slightly with Link's body.
-
7
Define the boots and gloves, making each as simple or detailed as you like. The simplest way to achieve this is to draw a line just above the boot leg, and then draw the top with a sightly curved horizontal line.

Tips & Warnings
Drawing Link realistically is a little trickier than drawing a cartoon Link. Simplify all steps and generalize your lines to make Link as a cartoon form.
