Instructions

    • 1

Apply foundation before you do anything else. You want a color that will make your skin look pale, but not completely white. It needs to create a washed out effect, not a clown effect. Cover your face, making sure to blend well. Get as close to your hair line as possible

    • 2

Add black eye shadow underneath your eyes. Smudge it slightly for a more serious look. You want it to come down from your eyes about 1/2 of an inch. Then apply some to your top eyelid. You don't need to go above your eyelid. This is only for effect when your eyes are closed. If you wish, you can apply a small amount under your eyebrows to create shadow, but don't get too much or it will be overkill.

    • 3

Apply temporary black hair dye to all but a chunk of hair right in the front, on the right side of your head. This patch should be about 2 or 3 inches wide. Color the rest black, if you hair is not already this color. If this is too messy, you may want to dye your hair before applying make up.

    • 4

Color the strip of hair left without dye, on the right, pure white. This is Sweeney's signature look. Black hair with one white strip will let everyone know exactly what character you are portraying. To finish off your look, sweep your hair back from your face with some hair gel and scrunch it to create waves. Instant Sweeney Todd.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't buy permanent hair dye unless you want your hair to stay that color for months to come.
