How to Get a Camera on the PSP
The Sony PSP is a very useful device to take with you anywhere you go. The PSP isn't just about games, though; it can also act as a digital camera. The Sony Go!Cam is a USB camera that will plug right into the top of the PSP. Sony only released the Go!Cam in Japan and in certain parts of Europe, which can make finding one in the United States a bit difficult. However, you can find the Go!Cam on the Internet and in some stores, and once you find it you can attach it to your PSP in just a few steps.

Shop around at some local pawn shops and used electronics stores. There have been some Sony Go!Cams in circulation in the United States. If you can find one this way, you can skip the trouble of importing one and you will save quite a bit of money.

Compare prices online. There are some online stores that sell the Sony Go!Cam, so if you cannot find one in a store, buying one online is the best way to obtain the Go!Cam. Amazon UK and eBay both carry the Sony Go!Cam (see Resources below).

Update your PSP firmware. After you have purchased your Sony PSP Go!Cam, you will need to have the latest firmware available for the PSP to use the camera. The easiest way to do this is to find a wireless connection on your PSP, and locate the “update” icon on the XMB under the “system” tab.

Attach your Go!Cam to the top of your PSP. The camera plugs into the USB port right on top of the PSP. There is a little screw next to the plug that will also secure the Sony Go!Cam onto the top of the PSP.
