How to Become a Dietitian in Canada
Dietitians in Canada must be licensed and meet professional standards established by a professional organization, the Dietitians of Canada. Dietitians play an important role in improving nutrition through individual counseling, public education and by developing programs for business and government. They serve in healthcare facilities to ensure patients receive the food they require. Dietitians participate in research efforts to develop improved nutrition guidelines for children, disadvantaged groups and the general public. If you want to become a dietitian in Canada, this guide outlines the steps you'll need to take.
