How to Make a Paper Plate Musical Shaker

Paper plate crafts are cheap and fun. These musical shakers are easy to assemble and fun for all ages. There are many different decoration ideas that can be used at birthday parties and play dates.

Things You'll Need

• Paper plate
• Crayons or markers
• Birdseed
• Glue
• Crepe paper streamers
• Clothespins

Instructions

1. Decorate the bottom of paper plate with crayons or markers.

2. Turn it right side up and fold in half.

3. Place a small handful of birdseed in the middle.

4. Run a bead of glue around the inside edge, also placing the crepe paper streamers on the inside edge.

5. Use clothespins to keep closed until glue dries.
