Pack up the kids and head to Delaware. Although this is the second-smallest state in the country, it has several entertaining activities for families. Whether you're visiting family or heading to an East Coast beach town for a vacation, read on to find out how to have family fun in Delaware.

1. Visit Brandywine Park Zoo in Wilmington, Delaware, home to over 150 animals. Hop on a discovery tour with your family and receive a guided tour of the zoo and special hands-on activities. The Zoo includes exotic animals like Siberian tigers, bobcats and pygmy goats.

2. Take a trip to Killen’s Pond Water Park in Felton, Delaware. This water-park is geared toward families with kids and has attractions for all ages, such as its tot pool and lot, sky-high water slides and Floating Lily Pad Fun Walk.

3. Visit Rehoboth, one of Delaware's largest beach resort towns. The resorts sit on the ocean and feature swimming, surfboarding, surfishing and windsurfing. On the beach, shopping, restaurants, live music and entertainment abound. While you're in Rehoboth, don't miss Jungle Jim's, an amusement park that features mini golf, go-karts, bumper boats and a water park.

4. Head to the quirky Delaware Toy and Miniature Museum in Wilmington, Delaware to view some of the tiniest toys in the world, including a dollhouse and Tokyo exhibit--feature tiny toys from Japan.
