How to Create a New Metacrawler Email Address

If you want to increase your visibility online, registering your email address on search engines like Metacrawler are recommended. When clients are looking for you or your business, they will be able to retrieve your email address and be able to contact you. This is also a good way to increase your visibility on other search engines such as Google and Yahoo search.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Visit the Metacrawler website. Register your name or the name of your business and email address by completing the form provided. This form can be found by clicking 'Add Your Listing', which is located at the top of the page. The form allows you to provide as much information about you or your business that you want.

  2. Step 2

    Fill out the form and submit it for approval. Click 'Add Listing' to do so. Your new email address and profile should now be listed in the Metacrawler search directory.

  3. Step 3

    Return to the Metacrawler website. Type in your name or the name of your business into the search boxes provided. You can also perform an email search. Your information should come up on the screen after you click 'Find'.

  4. Step 4

    Use Metacrawler to search other search engines including Google, Yahoo and MSN. After creating a new email address, those searching for your business or services will be able to find you easily. They will also be able to search for your website and other information that may be contained in various search engines.

  5. Step 5

    Periodically check your new email address and search listing to make sure that they are still working.
