Try an antihistamine. Easily available over the counter, antihistamines can help reduce the effects of mold allergies. Make sure you read the label carefully, as some of these can cause drowsiness. Ask your doctor which ones are the most effective.

Ask your doctor about allergy shots. If you are around mold every day as a part of your job or home life, you might want to try an allergy shot. Regular doses of the allergen are given, helping your body to adjust to the allergen itself. Shots are given on a long term basis. It is best, however, that you avoid the mold in every way possible.
