How to Run Faster in Madden NFL 08 Video Game
So you want your player to run faster in Madden 08, but he doesn't have 4.4 40-yard dash speed? Not a problem, but you will need a few techniques. Use the following moves on the PS2 and PS3 to run faster in Madden 08.

Tap the "X" button on your controller to send your runner out at full steam. This will make your player sprint with every tap. If you hold down the sprint button, your player will tire out and the defense will catch him.

Evade tacklers with the juke move. You can juke left or right by moving the right analog stick in that direction. You can also do a back juke by moving the analog stick down.

Use the spin move or the cut move to avoid defenders. Press the circle button to spin away from opponents or press "L1" or "R1" to cut left or right, respectively.

Power opponents out of the way. Sometimes, you may not be able outrun defenders, so run them over. Use the "L2" or "R2" to stiff-arm tacklers out of the way. If you have a "power" back, push the analog stick up to run over tacklers like an 18-wheeler.

Do a double move if you have a really quick, agile back. Start with the "L1" cut, then pick either the circle (spin) or analog stick (juke) to fake a tackler out of his cleats.
