Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Step1
Keep him guessing. Nothing stales a relationship more quickly than predictability. A lot of guys like a challenge. Instead of calling him every day at the same time, vary the times you call or text message him. Let him come to you, too.
Step2
Keep yourself busy with your own activities. If a guy knows that you're available every Saturday night, he might start to take it for granted that you'll always be around. Having your own interests and time to yourself makes you a more interesting person to him.
Step3
Look your best. This doesn't mean you have to dress up every time you see him, but you should put forth an effort to look good. This shows you're interested in him.
Step4
Learn some new tricks. Show you're interested in him in other ways as well. People want to be with people who make them feel good and want to be with them. Show an interest in things he likes to do, and he might do the same for you. Give the baseball game a chance. Learn how to beat him at his favorite video game. Go to a theme park together, or read that intellectual book you've been avoiding that he adores. You may find an unexpected interest, and it will fascinating that you share some interests.
Step5
Continue to flirt with him. Even if you've been with the same guy for years, it's great to keep flirting with him. This makes him feel desirable.
Step6
Surprise him. This will vary depending on the guy once you know what your guy likes the most. If he loves a certain musician, surprise him with tickets to that musician's concert. If he's crazy about cars, surprise him with a subscription to his favorite auto magazine or take him to a car show.
Step7
Stand up for yourself. It's easy to get lost in some relationships. Knowing your limits or even enforcing new ones can upset the balance of your relationship, but ultimately a guy will respect you and be interested. Strong self-respect is a big turn on.
