Handle a Pet Emergency

Here you will learn how to not panic when there is an emergency with your pet. Rememeber that your pet can sense when your worried, so that stresses them.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Call your regular Vet and see if they are open to give service to your injuried/sick pet. If you do not have a regular Vet you should got to the computer and search a Vet 24 hours near you and always have that number handy. My best advice would be to save it on your cell phone.

  2. Step 2

After you call, tell them that your on your way with an emergecncy and explain your emergency and then put your pet in your car and drive to that hospital without being too hectic.

  3. Step 3

When you get into the hospital tell them that your the person who called about the emergency and tell them if they could put your pet in a room ASAP and you'll go filling out the papers in the room.

  4. Step 4

    ASPCA Poison Control Center
    1(888)426-4435
