Things You'll Need:
- internet connection
- computer
-
Step 1
The first place I have come across that pays for game hints is http://www.uhs-hints.com/writing/ or Universal Hint System. They pay well if the work is good in their opinion.
-
Step 2
Another site that pays is called, "Mahalo.com". It pays for walkthrough writing. One must sign up at the website and fill out special forms to become a paid freelancer. The exact site with more information is:
http://greenhouse.mahalo.com/How_to_Start_Writing_Video_Game_Walkthroughs -
Step 3
Try becoming a paid consultant on sites such as Liveperson.com (formerly Kasamba). The income can be iffy and there is a minimum payout to reach. Whether or not it pays to be on these sites depends on how good the advice given is, how many people want to be a client, the fee charged, advertising, how much time is desired to be invested, and what questions are asked.
-
Step 4
Try writing articles on hints, cheats, or walkthroughs on sites like eHow, Associated Content, etc. Whatever paid site will take the article, try posting it.
-
Step 5
Try sites like Elance or Odesk. There may be sommeone wanting web content on sites about video games or someone to write an entire web site about a video game.
-
Step 6
One can also try classified ad sites such as Craigslist. There are occasional job posting on these sites and one never knows when a person paying for game content may show up and post a listing!
