When you decide that you want to choose an adult movie, you may not even know where to start. Buying an adult movie can be a bit overwhelming considering how many there are to choose from. If you are ready to buy an adult movie, here are some tips on how to choose the right one for you.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decide if you’re going to watch this by yourself or with a partner. If you decide on the latter, then you’re better off choosing the movie with your partner so that you can find a movie that you both want. People can be picky about the type of adult movies they choose to watch.

  2. Step 2

Choose who you want to watch in the movie. There’s guy on girl, guy on guy, girl on girl. You have to watch these characters together through the entire movie, so if you’re not comfortable watching two girls together, then a girl on girl movie isn’t for you.

  3. Step 3

Decide if you want to watch a movie with a plot or do you just want to watch all sex. Some people think that adult movies with plots are pointless and it takes away from what they really want to watch it for-the sex and only the sex.

  4. Step 4

Think about if you are interested in any type of fetish. There are a ton of movies that feature every type of fetish that you could think of for everything from lingerie to feet. When you choose a fetish movie, you get exactly what you pay for-a movie filled with what exactly excites you.

  5. Step 5

If you are looking for sexual instruction, you may want to get a movie that shows you how to do different sexual acts. There are movies that actually show (and tell) you how to do everything from fellatio to masturbation.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don’t be shy or embarrassed about purchasing adult videos. Whether you are watching them for pleasure and/or for instruction, it’s all about you (and your partner) and how you feel. It doesn’t matter where you purchase it from, the place that you’re buying it from is used to it and doesn't give it a second thought. Actually, most places will be more than willing to give you an opinion on what you chose.
  • Look for a review on the movie before you purchase it. If the movie was rated horribly by many people who are looking for the same type of movie as you then there’s a good chance that you’re not going to like the movie either. Adult movies can be expensive, so there’s no point in buying it and finding out that you just wasted your money.
