Set the stage. Get a red candle of any sort, as long as it has enough burning power to be lit until your true love comes to you. Have your crystal at your fingertips. It, too, can be of any sort or size, but you’ll want one that you can easily carry around in your pocket, purse or wear around your neck until the ritual kicks in. You also want to set up a cozy, comfortable and safe area to perform the ritual daily. Sitting on a comfy chair is fine, as is sitting on the couch or even on your bed with the candle on the bedside table. The candle should be on a sturdy surface so it doesn’t fall over and burn the house down.

Light the candle and clasp the crystal close to your heart. Crystals will be most powerful if they are directly touching the skin. So make sure one side of the crystal is flush against the hand while the other side is pressed firmly, but not harshly, against the skin directly above your heart.

Close your eyes and chant. Make sure the candle’s flame is burning steadily and slowly close your eyes. Breathe deeply, for three long inhalations and exhalations to relax your body and open your mind. Begin to chant a mantra three times, asking for the love you seek to come to you. Something as simple as: “Let the love I seek please come to me,” will do, or you can rewrite the phrase to make it a tad more poetic. As long as you mean it when you say it, the words are not as important as the intentions.

Visualize your love. Imagine the love of your dreams bathed in a white light that sprouts from around him or her like a halo. Imagine the powerful, white light stretching out and reaching into the crystal then down into your heart. Breathe deeply several times to feel the powerful beckoning of love.

Slowly move the crystal from your heart until it is cupped gently in both hands and blow out the candle.
