How to Build a Feeder Filler

Bird feeders can be a pain and a mess to fill. Luckily, there are some extraordinarily simple methods for constructing your own filler feeder for no cost and barely any hassle. Your birds will thank you for not spilling their meals all over the lawn.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2-liter bottle (plastic)
  • Marker
  • Scissors
  1. Step 1

    Using a marker, draw a 3-inch circle about 2 inches from the bottom of the 2-liter bottle.

  2. Step 2

    Cut out the the circle with a pair of scissors to make a small hole.

  3. Step 3

    Fill the bottle through its new hole with seed. Keep the bottle's cap on for now.

  4. Step 4

    Refill your feeder by placing the neck of your bottle into the opening and pouring in the seed.

Tips & Warnings
  • Vary the size of your bottle to match the size of your feeder.
