How to Use Acupressure Points to Treat Asthma
Most people take breathing for granted. As your body automatically inhales and exhales, you don’t even think about it most of the time. Acupressure for Breathing

Look at your left thumb nail and locate the inside bottom corner. Just below the nail is the acupressure point. Press this area with your right thumb using strong pressure, counting to ten slowly. Lift thumb, alleviating the pressure for one second. Repeat two more times. Change hands and repeat the same procedure on the right thumb.

Bend the left arm across your body. Cradle your right arm along the side. Your pointer fingertip should be touching the elbow while the thumb is directed at the end of the arm crease. Your thumb is at the acupressure point. Using strong pressure, press down with your thumb and count to 10 slowly. Lift for one second. Repeat two more times. Change and repeat on opposite side.

With the left hand facing up, slip your right hand around it, thumb on top. Find your pulse with the right hand thumb, this is the acupressure point. Repeat as before with a 10-count press and one second relief. Do this three times total and switch to the other side.
Acupressure for Toxins

For the toxin acupressure points, do each pressure point once, as a series. Rest for 1 second. Repeat twice more. Then repeat the procedure on the opposite arm. Open your hand, face up. Find your pulse and then follow your wrist to the same location on the opposite of the wrist. This is pressure point 1.

On your wrist, follow your arm towards your body approximately two inches. This is pressure point 2.

Follow your arm horizontally exactly across from the location in step 2. This is pressure point 3

Find your pulse on your wrist. This is pressure point 4.

Visualize the box you have made on your arm in Steps 1 through 4. Find the center of the box on your arm. This is pressure point 5.

Tips & Warnings
The pressure used on acupressure points must be a probing press. Use pressure to the point of near pain.
You must not use acupressure points to treat asthma one half hour before or after you eat or drink, even water.
Always see your healthcare provider. Acupressure should not be used as your only form of treatment for an illness. Do not use acupressure without your doctor’s permission if you have a heart condition.
