Throwing a football can be easy with a little practice!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • football
  • a brain ;)
  1. Step 1

Take the football and position it in your strong hand so that your ring finger is between the first two seams and your pinky finger is a whole gap away from the ring finger. It should look like this- /R/ /P/ / /

  2. Step 2

Your middle and index finger should be on the curve of the ball, close to the point.

  3. Step 3

Your thumb should be comfortably fitting under the football to support it in your hand.

  4. Step 4

To throw it, you must put the ball up by your head and support it with your other hand to prevent it from falling.

  5. Step 5

Point the ball backwards, then quickly release it forward, above your head.

  6. Step 6

As you follow through, you flick your wrist downward all the way until your thumb is touching your knee.
