Step 1
Give your Fortune Sim a house with nothing in it. That's right, give them an empty house to start with. Why? Because they will gain Aspiration Points for getting simple things like toilets and refrigerators! Why give them a fully furnished house when they're going to get Aspirations for filling it anyway?

Step 2
Get your Sim a high-paying job. Natural Science and Artist career paths pay the most. Fortune Sims will frequently have Aspirations of making money and making specific amounts of money (usually 500-10,000 Simoleans.) High-paying jobs and businesses are the best way (other than cheating) to keep them financially successful. This has the added benefit of giving your Fortune Sim enough cash to buy those expensive objects they long for.

Step 3
Go shopping. Fortune Sims love new clothes. They will frequently have the Aspiration to buy new ones. A quick trip to the clothing store will satisfy them. Note that you only need to buy them one outfit or one clothing item (top or bottom) in order to gain the Aspiration Points. You needn't buy a new wardrobe every time your Sim wants to go shopping.

Step 4
Save up for a car. Invariably, Fortune Sims will want to buy a car. In order to minimize headache in the long run, design their house with the garage/driveway in mind. Depending on timing, your Fortune Sim may want just any car or a really expensive one. Either way, buying them a car will earn them a lot of Aspiration Points.

Step 5
Buy a vacation house. Should your Sim come into large sums of money, buying them a vacation house will earn them a ton of Aspiration Points, as well as some Influence. Be warned though, they will want more than one.

Step 6
Take a trip. Once your Fortune Sim has a vacation house, they will want to use it. They also love taking vacations, which can be expensive (particularly given the Fortune Sim's tastes.) Keep this in mind when indulging some of their other shopping wishes.

Step 7
Buy stuff. The most common Aspiration for the Fortune Sim is to buy things. Sculptures, counters, DJ Booths, Saunas, Cars, Paintings: they want it all. Sometimes their material wish will include a price such as "Buy a Painting Costing at least 600 Simoleans." Make sure you look for this before you buy just any old painting.
