If you are making a project with Windows Movie Maker and you want to know how to add music or audio, here's how.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Windows Movie Maker Program
  • Music or Audio in your computer
  1. Step 1

Open your windows movie maker project. Click on "add music or audio"

  2. Step 2

If you want music, go to your "My Music" folder and select the song you want. Then drag it to your storyboard/timeline at the bottum. If you have video on your storyboard, with sounds, you can mute it by right-clicking the bit under the video and selecting "mute".

  3. Step 3

If you want audio, upload a video with the audio you want. Then drag the video down to the timeline and put it in the "Audio" or "Audio/Music" bar. You will notice the video part has disapeared!

  4. Step 4

Then you can add pictures, videos, etc. to your project.

Tips & Warnings
  • It is best to save regularily - WMM seems to freeze up a lot (or at least for me)
