A simple remedy to combat eczema.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Mix an equal proportion of cinnamon powder and honey, then spread on the relevant areas. You can use more, depending on the area size.

  2. Step 2

You may wish to place tissue over the area to stop the mixture from dripping.

  3. Step 3

After 15-30 minutes (the longer the better), wash off with water.

  4. Step 4

Repeat the process every other day for a week. After a week the inflammation, redness and itch should reduce or disappear.

Tips & Warnings
  • You should continue to apply the mixture as and when needed.
  • After the eczema subsides, you may notice that the skin tends to get a little flaky and dry. Don't worry, just apply a good moisturizer regularly!
  • This mixture is also good for removing eczema scars.

on 8/5/2008 I work for Espere Healthcare in the UK who have just launched a brand-new range of therapeutic bedding called DermaTherapy which has been designed specifically for eczema sufferers, helping to calm symptoms down, particularly the level of itching, after just eight weeks.

It’s unique fibre structure prevents loose fibres sticking out and irritating delicate or broken skin and it can also help you to keep cool whilst being as soft to touch as the highest percentile Egyptian cotton sheets!
