I'm going to teach you how to make the Aunt Jemima Maple syrup from home.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 T salt
  • 1 T maple flavoring
  1. Step 1
     

    Combine water, sugar, corn syrup, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir and cook it until it comes to a boil.

  2. Step 2
     

    Let boil for 7 minutes.

  3. Step 3
     

    Turn off heat and let syrup cool for 15 minutes.

  4. Step 4
     

    Add maple flavoring and stir.

  5. Step 5
     

    When completely cook, put syrup into a pourable container.
