CONSIDER COLORS:
- The first rule, DON'T WEAR WHITE, you don't want to compete with the bride! nobody besides her should wear that color on her wedding.
- If the wedding is during day time, try not to wear dark colors like Black, navy blue etc. those colors are for night events. for the guys, don't wear tuxedos if the party is before 6:00pm.
- Weddings are suppose to be fun, don't start thinking about what everyone else is going to wear, Don't worry about wearing same colors as the bridesmaids, mothers or ushers. -
2
CONSIDER FORMALITY OF EVENT:
- Ladies, TOO sexy is not appropriate for a wedding. You have to wear something feminine but not club like style.
- Guys, Don't try to get cute with a tuxedo. A black tux with white shirt and black bow tie is the best way to go. -

More tips for the ladies:
- if the invitation doesn't specify the formality of the event, use good judgment. A pastel suit or soft floral dress for daytime or a little black dress for evening (after 6:00pm) will be just fine.More tips for the guys:
- Do wear a dark suit, with a tie if the wedding is after 6 PM, and doesn't say "Black Tie.
- Don't wear a tuxedo during the day time, regardless of the formality of the event.
- if the invitation doesn't specify the formality of the event, use good judgment. A dark suit and conservative tie will take you just about anywhere.
