Things You'll Need:

  • Little Black Dress
  • Cardigan
  • White Button Down shirt
  • Jeans
  • Black Suit
  1. Step 1

    The LBD- The Little Black Dress. A wardrobe work horse! You can dress it up. You can dress it down. Wear it alone or layered. Wear it with heels or flats. You can’t go wrong with The LBD.

  2. Step 2

    Cardigan. The Cardigan can be used instead of a Blazer for work and with jeans and a t-shirt for play. Choose neutral colors- Black Navy or Brown.

  3. Step 3

    White Button Front Shirt. Construction and fit are key. Pick one with darts or seams for a feminine look. For comfort look for one with a bit of stretch to it.

  4. Step 4

    Jeans. Jeans can move from the office to evening if you buy the right ones. A Dark wash is a must. No whiskering, abrasions or ornate pocket emblems.

  5. Step 5

    Black Suit. Look for a versatile fabric that will span the seasons. Look for complete suit systems- Trousers, Jackets, Skirt and Dress .
