How to Edit an Email Signature in Outlook Express
Automatic email signatures can save time and avoid your having to type the same information at the end of every email. You can put all your contact information in your Outlook Express signature, including your name, phone number and website address. Then, when your information changes, you can edit the signature.

Open Outlook Express. From the Tools menu, choose "Options."

Click on the "Signatures" tab. A list of your signatures is displayed in the box in the middle of the dialog window. Click on the signature you want to edit. The signature displays in the box at the bottom of the dialog window.

Choose the "Text" option to edit the text of your Outlook Express signature. If you use an image file for your signatures, choose the "File" option and navigate to the new file you wish to use on your hard drive.

Edit the text of your signature. Delete the details which are no longer correct and type in the new information. When you have finished, click the "Apply" button, and then "OK" to save your changes.

Associate your Outlook Express signature with a new account. If your email account has changed, you must tell Outlook Express to use your signature with the account. When your signature looks the way you want, click on the "Advanced" button and choose the account to which you want Outlook Express to attach your signature.

Tips & Warnings
Put a check mark next to "Add Signatures to All Outgoing Messages" at the top of the dialog window if you want Outlook Express to automatically attach the signatures to all emails. To exclude replies and forwards, put a check mark next to "Don't Add Signatures to Replies and Forwards."
