Barcelona, Spain, is home to many art galleries and museums. From contemporary to classic, there is bound to be an art museum in Barcelona to accommodate everyone's interests.

  1. Step 1

    Take a trip to Spain. One should plan to stay there for at least a week or two so that one will have time to visit all of the art museums that Barcelona has to offer. One should also check into a hotel that is adjacent to many of the museums in Barcelona. Try the Arc De La Rambla right on the main walk or the Hotel Palace Barcelona, near the El Prat Airport.

  2. Step 2

    See the Contemporary Art and Culture Center, also known as the CaixaForum. This museum includes many of the works from the Foundations Contemporary Art Collection and many other works from visiting exhibits. The Contemporary Art and Culture Center also holds seminars and other cultural events.

  3. Step 3

    Go to the Picasso Museum, Barcelona. This museum lies in the heart of Barcelona's old city and populates 5 Gothic palaces. The Picasso Museum, Barcelona holds many of Picasso's great works and is well worth a long visit.

  4. Step 4

    Make a stop at the Miro Foundation, which holds many of Miro's works and even contains information on the modern architecture of the museum itself. It is one of the major art galleries in the city of Barcelona.
