      Purchase a wireless card for your PC. If you haven't purchased the wireless hub, you might want to do it at the same time. Sometimes you can get a package deal.

      Unplug your computer. Remove the cord from the back of the PC so you can have easier access. Set the PC on a table where you can work on it.

      Open the case of the computer. Watch out for sharp edges. Remove all the screws that hold the case together. Set them somewhere so they don't get lost.

      Locate the Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) bus inside the computer. Remove the screws that hold the slot cover in place. Set the screws aside for now.

      Take the wireless card out of its package. Handle it by its edges. Firmly place the wireless card into the slot. Screw the mounting screws on to the wireless card.

      Put the case back on the computer. Reconnect all the wires.

      Insert the installation CD that came with the wireless card into the CD player. Follow the prompts on the screen to finish installing the wireless card on your PC.

      Connect your PC to the Internet via your new wireless PC card. To do this your hub needs to be installed and operational.
