Biodiesel is an alternative fuel source. Domestic and renewable sources produce biodiesel, making it far superior to gasoline. It's biodegradable and non-toxic. Another advantage is that it doesn't use petroleum, but you can blend it with petroleum. If you have a vehicle that can handle biodiesel, you have to find biodiesel fueling stations.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to the official site of the National Biodiesel Board for a national listing of places where you can buy biodiesel. If you find a biodiesel fueling station not on the list, contact the National Biodiesel Board to get the station added to the list.

  2. Step 2

Sign up for NearBio. Nearbio will send you a list of biodiesel stations in your area directly to your computer or cell phone. It'll even include driving directions. You can sign up for NearBio for free.

  3. Step 3

Click onto the U.S. Department of Energy in Alternative and Advanced Fuels to find biodiesel fueling stations. All you do is click onto your state to find a biodiesel station in your area.

  4. Step 4

Look at Grassolean for another complete listing of biodiesel fueling stations in your area. Grassolean will also give you a list of vehicles that can use biodiesel.
