Things You'll Need:

  • 6-oz. dark glass bottle (sterilized)
  • 2 tbsp. jojoba oil
  • 3 tbsp. sweet almond oil
  • 1 tsp. vitamin E oil
  • 5 drops frankincense essential oil

Sterilize the bottle. Uncap it and the bottle and the cap into cool water and heat to boiling. Allow the water to boil for about 1 minute and then reduce the heat. Remove the bottle and cap when the water cools and place upside down to drain.

  2. Step 2

Mix the oils in your glass bottle. Add 2 tbsp. of jojoba oil, 3 tbsp. of sweet almond oil and 1 tsp. of vitamin E oil. For relaxation, add 5 drops of frankincense essential oil, 5 drops of petitgrain essential oil and 20 drops of lavender essential oil.

  3. Step 3

Seal the lid on the bottle and shake the oils lightly. Shake the bottle gently 2 or 3 times each day to blend the aromas.

Tips & Warnings
  • Mix your aromatherapy oil in a 6-oz. sterilized dark glass bottle.
  • Choose high quality, virgin and fresh essential oils when making aromatherapy oils. If all of your ingredients are fresh and you store the final oil in a cool, dark place, your oils should last for 18 months or more.
