Download bot removal software from Ware Seeker or another website that offers software for removing bots from a Mac computer. Some software there is freeware, which means it is free for users to download and use.

Open the software for removing malicious bots on your Mac and click on the Scan button. A scan of your entire computer will ensue. The software is programmed to look for malicious bots on your Mac computer and will turn up a list of malicious bots that have rooted themselves on your Mac.

Inspect the list of malicious bots that the software produced. Sometimes the bots that the software located are actually used to help run certain programs on your computer and their deletion can disable the software you want to use. The list of bots on the software may show you which programs run these bots. If you use the bots to run software like your music player or your photo editing software, you should not delete the bots.
