Going gray is simply a matter of growing older, but that doesn't mean that you can't put up your best fight against the gray. There are several natural and safe ways to help slow, stop or even reverse graying hair.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Wheat grass juice (2 to 3 oz. per day)
  • PABA (30 mg per day)
  • Daily B complex vitamin (containing 10 to 50 mg of each B vitamin)
Step1
Rule out potential medical conditions that can often cause graying hair before you begin a method for stopping the gray. Possible health conditions that cause graying hair include thyroid disorders such as hyperthyroidism, and hypothyroidism as well as stomach and/or intestinal conditions, such as gastric bypass, Crohn's disease, celiac disease, or presence of parasites or bacterial overgrowth in the body.
Step2
Start growing wheat grass and stop growing gray hair. Wheat grass is full of vitamins and minerals that they body needs for maximum efficiency. While it may take a few months to see the results, many people claim that drinking just 2 or 3 oz. of wheat grass juice every day causes a dramatic improvement on graying hair.
Step3
Boost your intake of PABA (para amino benzoic acid). PABA is a vitamin found in eggs, dairy, whole grains and molasses and can also be taken in supplement form, up to 30 mg per day. PABA promotes the growth of hair and prevents hair from growing. While it may not reverse gray that is already present, it can certainly help to stop more from coming.
Step4
Take a B complex vitamin each day, as B vitamins are among the most common deficiencies in America. B vitamins are essential for proper metabolism and a wide variety of functions in the body, including healthy hair and pigmentation. Look for a quality B complex vitamin with a 10 to 50 mg average of each B vitamin.
